Darrell Gaudet BA’86 was recently honoured for his contributions to community and policing by the Governor General of Canada by being inducted as a member of the Order of Merit Police Forces. A proud former Husky football player, Darrel is now in his 30th year of policing, and has had a diverse career. He is currently posted in Ottawa as a Staff Sergeant with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Federal Policing Specialized Services.
Dr. Jenine Arab-O’Mally BSc’86 was recently awarded the Progress Club Women of Excellence Award 2015 – Health Sport and Wellness. She was recognized for her valuable professional, community, and professional accomplishments. In addition, Jenine was also chosen as one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry (Dental Products Report), for her leadership and contribution to progressive advancements in the industry.
Dr. Leroy Lowe, DipENG’83, BSc’86, EMBA’00 received the 2016 award for a Distinguished Contribution to Cancer Prevention from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) in San Francisco. Leroy is President of Getting to Know Cancer (www.gettingtoknowcancer.or) and is pictured here at the award dinner with Ken Cook, EWG President.

Michelle L. Wolfe BComm’86 became a Founding Partner at Meritus Trust Company Limited, a licensed Bermuda trust company, regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority. She was a former Managing Director of Rothschild Trust (Bermuda) Limited, Coutts Bermuda Limited, and of Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited, and has over 20 years of professional experience in the trust business.

Dr. Arab O’Malley is distinguished as one of only 400 dental professionals world-wide to have achieved Accreditation status in the AACD. She will be recognized as the first dentist in Atlantic Canada to have reached this designation. Dr. Arab O’Malley is a proud Haligonian and lifelong resident of Halifax. She graduated from Saint Mary’s University with her BSc and was awarded the University Gold Medal for highest standing in her graduating year. She proceeded with her postgraduate studies at Dalhousie University where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery and the W.H.H Beckwith Award for greatest proficiency in Operative Dentistry. At her clinic in Clayton Park Halifax, Dr. Arab O’Malley performs a full spectrum of dental services, where she incorporates a blend of artistic sensitivity and technical ability, ranging from cosmetic bonding to full mouth reconstruction. She has applied new technologies and scientific applications to her practice, which enables a focus on non-evasive restoration of esthetics and attrition.
