The Saint Mary’s University LGTBQ Society had an amazing year with a whole host of events. They included a full Pride Week during the school year featuring celebrated events like Drag Your Heels. They also partook in the city’s Pride Parade along with representation from Athletics and Alumni. SMUQ won Society of the Year for the second year running in 2014. We recently funded SMUQ to develop an even more robust events calendar, as well as a scholarship for LGBTQ students.
