Ashley McKenzie

Graduation Year: 2007

Ashley McKenzie BA’07 won Best Atlantic Canadian Director at the Atlantic Film Festival in September 2016. Her film “Werewolf” was named one of Toronto International Film Festival’s Top 10 Canadian Films of 2016.

Adam Lord

Graduation Year: 2007

Adam Lord BComm’07 was elected Mayor of Miramichi last November, after being first elected as a member of Miramichi City Council in May 2016 and then appointed Deputy Mayor. When Mayor Jerry Cormier passed away, a by-election was held. Adam resigned from council to run for mayor and won by 2255 votes.
